Paignton Community & Sports Academy and South Devon College, two strong and well established educational organisations, rated good and outstanding by Ofsted, have agreed to work more closely together to ensure that all children have very strong information, advice and guidance to be enabled to progress and achieve their future careers ambitions and aspirations.
This will mean a strong focus on transition pathways for all young people looking at their post 16 options and a guaranteed induction and place at South Devon College across the wide range of excellent ‘A’ level and technical programmes from Construction to Health and Engineering to Science. This joint working compact will also mean increased opportunities for teachers to collaborate and share pupil information, approaches and professional development, bringing the strengths of both organisations together.
Paignton Community & Sports Academy is well known for its excellence in Sport, and with the College’s exciting White Rock Football Foundation development, the closer joint working of both organisations will give even more opportunities for top level curriculum and shared community developments.
This is an exciting time for both Paignton Community & Sports Academy and South Devon College with increasing numbers of young people benefitting from primary, secondary and post 16 education and training.
Next academic year will see the impact of closer collaboration between the two educational organisations which will benefit current and future pupils and students.
