South Devon College Level 3 Business students have been fundraising for PATH Torbay.
To raise the money the students organised cake sales, washed cars and one student, Jake Oliver, was brave enough to dye his hair red for the cause raising £126 toward the total of £420.
The money raised was used to buy an insulated soup flask. The flask will allow the volunteers at PATH to offer hot soups with crusty rolls to the homeless people across the bay during the cold winter months. Having raised double what they were aiming for, the rest of the money was used to buy 3 insulated boxes which will be used to transport hot food and two pump flasks for tea and coffee.
Walking boots, all weather gear and sleeping bags were also donated to PATH from staff and students at the College.
