The Instsitue of the Motoring Industry (IMI) held a South Devon Members Association event based on new MOT training updates at South Devon College. People from all over Devon and Cornwall attended the event.

Guest speakers included, Grant Thunder from DVSA, and Barry Williams and Georgia Foley from the awarding body, IMI. All participants were treated to an engaging presentation on new areas for MOT scheme and updates on the new testers qualification, and annual CPD and training requirements for all testers.

The event coincided with South Devon College running a pilot course for the New Testers Qualification at the Bradley Lane Centre in Newton Abbot. Upon successful approval from IMI, the centre will be fully equipped to offer and certifify this qualification. We also launched our package of training for the testers annual CPD and assessment.
