7th March 2016
Thank you to everyone who visited and supported this year’s extremely popular and high profile Annual Community Day.
Yet again the weather was in our favour, with morning cloud clearing to a sunny and brisk afternoon. The whole campus was buzzing with hundreds of happy individuals and families all keen to get ‘hands on’ with the wide variety of excellent facilities on offer across all our areas.
Visitors enjoyed the opportunity to tour numerous activities and attractions, and feedback received from our community was highly positive and extremely complimentary – the words ‘brilliant’ and ‘lots to see and do’ being heard everywhere!
All areas were very busy; around 200 Mother’s Day cards in Painting and Decorating were made, and 100 trinket boxes were made. From the guests sampled, particular popular activities mentioned were:
- Custom Car Display
- Marshmallow tower
- Maths Area
- Oculus Rift
- Owl handling
If you want to see some great images from the event, these will be, or are already on our College Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts as well as the Herald Express website in due course:
