Uniformed Public Services BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3
This two-year course provides you with a diverse range of exciting and interesting topics relating to public services taught by ex and currently serving public service personnel.
You will benefit from realistic, work-based scenarios and projects, gaining strong vocational experience to complement a rigorous academic base.You will explore theoretical areas such as psychology, sociology, criminology, sports science, leadership, self-discipline and outdoor learning.
The course provides opportunities to focus on specific interests in the second year, and helps prepare you for a career in the uniformed public services or progression to university-level study.

- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in English
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in Maths

Glyn came in to education in 2004 and has worked as a public service lecturer since 2009. Prior to working at South Devon College, Glyn Served in the Royal Navy Submarine Service and completed a degree in Physical Education. Glyn has since completed a Research Masters in History.Glyn Potter
