UAL Art and Design Foundation Diploma Level 3/4
This is a unique qualification that will prepare you for university-level study in art-related degrees such as: photography, architecture, fine art, graphics and fashion.
This course is ideal if you have gained a Level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) and would like to pursue a career in a creative field. You will develop an outstanding portfolio of work that showcases the skills you develop and your own creativity and aptitude.
This programme is accredited through the prestigious University of the Arts, London and is characterised by experimental and integrated approaches to developing creative ideas. You will gain a wide range of experiences in our outstanding workshops in order to assess your own strengths and develop personal preferences. In term two, you will get a chance to specialise in the area of your choice. For mature applicants we assess suitability at interview and there is no age limit for this course.
Course Details
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in Maths
- You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in English
- You will need to have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including Maths and English
- You will need to present a portfolio of your work
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject

Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.

I’ve recently completed my Level 5 HR Consultant Partner Apprenticeship at South Devon College and have enjoyed every minute! South Devon College has provided me with the tools and resources I needed to complete the course. My tutor and colleagues were extremely supportive and created an open environment to encourage participation and the sharing of ideas! Doing an apprenticeship has allowed me to apply knowledge that I’ve learnt during the course into real life situations.
