Seafish Engine Room Watch Keeping
It is important that anyone going to sea on a vessel understands the basic engineering principles.
This course introduces the principles of vessel engineering with a focus towards the engineering requirements associated with vessels of 16.5m and under.
This course is completed after a final assessment, with certificate provided upon completion.
If you apply for a Seafish course through the college, you will be charged the full rate. There may be funding available to you from Seafish. If you think this might be the case, please contact Seafish before making your application.

This course is designed to teach you the knowledge and experience of using the safety equipment carried on small boats and the techniques needed to survive at sea in case of accident at sea.
