Project Management
This bite-sized course is designed to meet the needs of managers responsible for projects, who wish to extend their skills and knowledge to embrace further project management disciplines. It is expected that attendees will already be working in a project management environment, although this course is also open to students wishing to build on their general management skills.
This course is part of an overall package called Management and Leadership Excellence Programme. This is a bespoke funded non-accredited programme of bite-sized remote courses delivered over MS Teams by the Business and Professional lecturer team. Each course is 3 hours in duration and delivered remotely helping employers staff to gain insightful and helpful knowledge, tools and models in a variety of essential Management and Leadership subjects. Students receive a subject certificate of attendance for each course completed and an overall programme certificate if they attend seven or more subjects contained in the programme.

I’ve recently completed my Level 5 HR Consultant Partner Apprenticeship at South Devon College and have enjoyed every minute! South Devon College has provided me with the tools and resources I needed to complete the course. My tutor and colleagues were extremely supportive and created an open environment to encourage participation and the sharing of ideas! Doing an apprenticeship has allowed me to apply knowledge that I’ve learnt during the course into real life situations. The end point assessment project has enabled me to showcase my new skills by designing a solution to a business need. Amy Law – HR Advisor, Core Highways
