Mosaics
Create different usable or decorative pieces of work that are suitable to decorate your home or give as gifts.
You will learn about different types of wood/surfaces that are suitable to mosaic indoor and outdoor pieces on and what types of adhesive and tessarae (tiles) can be used on them.
You will develop skills in safely cutting mosaic tiles, gluing them to suitable bases and learning grouting techniques that can be completed at home.
You’ll also have the chance to explore possible colours, textures and tile direction combinations to enhance a piece of work.
