Makeup Artistry Certificate Level 2
The Level 2 Certificate in Makeup Artistry aims to provide you with a range of technical and practical skills and knowledge, which will equip them to seek employment or further training within the makeup industry.
You will be equipped with underpinning knowledge and essential technical and practical skills required to acquire a job within the makeup industry. A range of application techniques will be taught, carried out on both peer models and clients, constantly embedding communication skills.
- You will need to have achieved a minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade 3(D) or above
- You must have a GCSE Grade 3(D) in English
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject
- You must have a minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade 3(D) or a Level 1 diploma

Body art design
The art of dressing hair
An introduction to special effects makeup
Basic makeup application for bridal, glam and special occasion
Makeup through the eras will also be covered from the 1920’s right up to current day trends
