Wet felt making is a creative craft that combines wool fibres to create a bespoke piece of artwork.
Positive links between creative tactile making and mental wellbeing are clear.
Wet felt making has low-tech appeal, touchable crafts, we will design and produce pieces of felt that can then be personalised with embellishment and needle felting.

The skill of wet felting through tuition and peer support, exploring your creative side to produce a finished piece of felt.
Gain Knowledge of the wet felting and needle felting process.
Explore different types of felting decoration and embellishment.
Produce finished bespoke pieces of felt.

I have been really happy with the Level 4 Learning and Skills Mentor apprenticeship. The monthly lessons, led by Leigh, are well thought out and engaging. We receive excellent resources and have ample opportunities to practice our techniques during the lessons. Allowing for group collaboration and sharing of experiences. The feedback and one-on-one sessions I have received are informative, knowledgeable, and helpful, enabling me to develop my skills further. Since starting this apprenticeship, I have gained valuable knowledge in questioning and listening techniques, which I have already begun to apply in my role as an Assessor Coach. Throughout the program, I have felt fully supported. I cannot recommend this course enough for anyone either new to mentoring or looking to develop their communication and support skills.
