Education and Early Years: Early Years Educator T Level
This two-year programme is best suited to those wanting to work or support children.
This qualification has a wide range of psychological theory exploring child development. There is no course work for this programme, you will be assessed through a mixture of exams and projects.
You will attend a placement in a local early years setting once a week to be able to practice all of the theory you have learnt in the classroom.
After successful completion you will have gained accreditation as an Early Years Educator, with a licence to practice as well as UCAS points allowing them to progress onto university.
T Level qualifications are equivalent to studying 3 A Levels and carries UCAS points, so you could progress to a university degree rather than immediately entering the workforce.
Course Details
- You must have a GCSE Grade 5(B) in English
- You must have a GCSE Grade 5(B) in Maths
- You will need to complete a DBS Check
- A Grade 4 in Science and two other GCSEs at grade 4

Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.

Debbie is very experienced in early years education having worked in the childcare industry, both in practice and management, for many years. She has a Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management, Level 4 in Education and Training, and the A1 Assessing qualification. Most recently, she has completed the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. Debbie is the course manager for the adult’s level 3 Early Years Workforce programme, and assesses students in their work place to support competency and practical skills.
