If you want to begin your creative journey, but you don’t have any formal qualifications in art or design yet, then this is the perfect course for you. It’s where you’ll get a taste of the creative industry, getting you ready to move on to one of our many advanced courses in art, design, and media.
You’ll be introduced to a range or art and design projects, developing your talents for painting, drawing, photography, digital design, and 3D. You’ll be working in professional studios, using the same equipment and material that you would find out in the industry.
Finding your creative voice and how to express it is a big part of your journey with the College, and you’ll be participating in exhibitions, projects, and competitions, helping you develop a varied portfolio of work and grow as a creative professional.
This is an introductory course designed to give you a taste of many artistic disciplines, helping you find your feet and experiment with different creative techniques.
It’s perfect for people who want a career in the creative industries but haven’t had any formal training. We’ll help shape your passion for the arts, help you understand the industry, and prepare you for progression onto your next course.
