AAT Accounting Professional Diploma Level 4
This qualification builds on the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting and is the final level of the AAT qualifications, covering higher level accounting.
This course includes both mandatory and optional units which you can see in the ‘What will I learn?’ section below.
You will attend weekly classes but a significant amount of self-directed study is vital at this level. You will be assessed by means of online computer assessments for each unit, plus a synoptic assessment for the mandatory units.
You could progress onto further professional accountancy qualifications, including the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or business and management qualifications.
If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to free or reduced course fees.
You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment. To find out exactly what you could receive, contact our Helpzone team on 08000 380 123 for a free, impartial appointment, with no commitment necessary.

The best part about studying at South Devon College is the tutors, I had a brilliant AAT tutor that was very supportive and helpful. The College was a nice environment to be in, I felt that it was sociable, but not intimidating. My advice for those looking to study AAT would be to study hard and you will achieve things that you didn't think were possible!Tasmin Reid
