Apprentice, Philippa, shortlisted for CRN Women and Diversity in Channel award

Philippa Marshall Digital Marketing Apprentice

One of our Digital Marketing Apprentices, Philippa Marshall, has been shortlisted for the Apprentice Award at the CRN Women and Diversity in Channel awards!

Philippa was nominated for the Rising Star Award – Vendor/Distributor and Graduate/Apprentice Award – Vendor/Distributor. As a result, she was shortlisted for the Apprentice Award.

Her colleagues at Climb Channel Solutions put her forward for the awards because they were impressed with the work she has put in since starting her apprenticeship and how she is already starting to progress with her career within the business.

The awards are aimed to champion, recognise and celebrate women and diversity in the channel. The awards put firms and individuals in the spotlight that are not only tackling gender issues, but are making diversity, in all senses, a priority within their business. Women are still well under-represented across the industry. Shouting about the accomplishments of women in the channel – not because they are women, but because their accomplishments are worth shouting about – can play an important role in tackling diversity in the channel.

The awards ceremony is Thursday 13th October and we wish Philippa the best of luck!

If you’re interested in studying an apprenticeship, you can discover all the options at South Devon College and vacancies at a range of local employers. You can also get in touch by calling 08000 380 123 or emailing [email protected].
