Students at South Devon College were recently welcomed by the visit of the ‘Next Steps South West’ workshop bus.
Funded by the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP), the moving and interactive class is currently embarking on a roadshow tour of the major College’s across the South West regions, providing students with information across a variety of higher education options.
On board the buses were an enthusiastic team of staff ready to provide students with invaluable information and guidance on the important next steps of higher education. From apprenticeship opportunities to university courses, the dedicated team also explained the benefits choosing to study at higher education can bring to each student.
The roadshows are specially designed to engage with the enquiring students. There’s bean bags, plenty of bright coloured signs, and interactive screens to help answer all queries.
South Devon College offers a variety of higher education courses suited for every interest and future career prospects. The courses are specially designed to help gain knowledge and experience. Under the guidance of our dedicated team of tutors, students will gain practical experience, often working with real clients, helping to build professional and employment skills.
