Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness (Online) Level 2
This Level 2 Certificate is suitable for anyone who wishes to gain better insight into the principle of climate change and environmental awareness.
The course will provide you with an understanding of the nature of climate change and the role that people play in helping to reduce carbon emissions. You will recognise key challenges in industry, and management of resources and waste. You will also develop an insight into a more sustainable way of living.
Through achieving the qualification, you will gain the knowledge and understanding to act as a driver of positive change within the workplace and at home.
This course is completed via distance learning, allowing you the flexibility of studying in your own time. There are a range of teaching materials that you will work your way through and at the end of each section you will complete an assessment.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a Level 1 qualification. It is recommended that you are confident in using computers and have regular internet access.
This course will be fully subsidised for those who are over 19, have been resident in the UK for three years, with an exception of those who live within a devolved adult education area and those currently enrolled on an apprenticeship – please click here for more information.
