Lean Continuous Process for Improvement – Essential Skills
This two-day course is for people who are working in or have an interest in working in an engineering context.
At the end of the course, you will have a good understanding of:
Knowledge associated with lean processes.
How to use systematic team methods to control and improve performance in an engineering context
How to reduce defects and waste by using the Lean and DMAIC Toolkit
The course will take place at South Devon College’s Paignton campus and will include lots of practical sessions to embed your understanding and develop your skills. There is no formal assessment. Upon successful engagement in both days, you will receive a South Devon College Certificate of attendance.

If the amount shown is more than £0.00 and you are aged 19 and over at the start of the course, you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to fully subsidised or reduced tuition fees.
Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
