CMI Operations Manager Degree Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is perfect if you are a middle manager or aiming for senior management. With a structured and comprehensive approach, it will equip you with the skills and competencies needed to become an effective middle or senior manager, taking you closer to Chartered Manager status.

You will study a recognised Level 5 management qualification covering both theory and practical application, alongside completing the work-based elements of the apprenticeship. Your learning will include formal tuition combined with practical tasks, the development of a work-based project, and a portfolio of evidence.

You will be expected to apply your studies to your operational environment to support your own development, help those around you progress, and make positive improvements to your organisation.

You will achieve the following qualifications:

Operations Manager Apprenticeship

CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership (available classroom or online)

Level 2 Functional Skills English (classroom or online, if required)

Level 2 Functional Skills Maths (classroom or online, if required).

Lessons are delivered through formal classroom or online tuition, supported by private research and study outside of scheduled sessions, with weekly sessions over 12 months.

You will demonstrate your skills and knowledge through formal written assignments, alongside compiling a portfolio of evidence to support the competence element of the qualification relevant to your management role. Additionally, you will complete a work-based project. Both the project and portfolio will be assessed through an End Point Assessment, during which you will present your evidence to an interview panel.
