A very warm welcome to University Centre South Devon!
Between now and when you commence studying with us there are a few things you need to do to get ready to be a Higher Education apprentices student at University Centre South Devon. To help you in this process we have created a checklist and compiled resources to look at.
Prior to starting
- Ensure you have accepted your offer by responding to your offer email
- Complete sign-up paperwork with the apprenticeship coach
- Declare any disabilities and apply for disabled students’ support. If you need further guidance, please contact [email protected]
First few weeks of teaching
- Collect your lanyard and student ID card on your first day on site
- Complete the “Getting to know you” questionnaire
- Download your module guides
- Attend “Stepping in to HE Workshops” arranged by your Tutor
- Meet the Wellbeing Team through the Study Well Session
- Attend a library induction session in our dedicated HE library
- Meet and get to know your cohort members
Getting to know your University Centre
- Pop into the Student Support Hub to meet the team
- Check out the Student Lounge on the top floor of the University Centre
- Find the Research Centre and Study Skills Pod
- Have you sampled the cake from the café on the ground floor cafe of the University Centre?
