This course equips you with the knowledge and tools required to support and lead organisational change effectively. It addresses both the structural and human aspects of change management.
Day one introduces the theory of change, covering models such as Lewin’s change model, Kotter’s 8 Step Process and ADKAR. You will explore the reasons change initiatives succeed or fail and consider the importance of alignment, communication and stakeholder engagement.
Day two focuses on the people side of change. You will examine emotional responses to change, resistance, motivation and the role of line managers in supporting teams. Activities include communication planning, scenario based leadership tasks and identifying strategies to build commitment.
The final day emphasises implementation and sustainability. You will discuss practical tools such as impact assessments, change readiness reviews, change logs and monitoring frameworks. You will also reflect on their own organisational context and create a high level change plan.
By the end of the course, you will be able to understand change processes, anticipate challenges and apply techniques that support smooth transitions and long term success.
