Collaborative Innovation in the Workplace Professional Short Course

Collaborative Innovation in the Workplace Professional Short Course

This course introduces you to the principles of innovation and how collaboration enhances creative thinking and problem solving.

  • Day one explores what innovation is, types of innovation (incremental, disruptive, process, product) and the factors that enable or inhibit creativity. You will examine innovation models and discuss how workplace culture influences innovation potential.

  • Day two focuses on collaborative techniques. Through interactive activities, you will practise brainstorming, design thinking, prototyping and creative problem solving methods. They evaluate the roles of diverse teams, psychological safety and cross functional communication in driving new ideas.

  • The final day guides you through an innovation challenge where they apply techniques to a real organisational issue. The day concludes with reflections on implementation, barriers to innovation and strategies for sustaining innovative cultures.

By the end of the course, participants will understand how to contribute to innovation initiatives and work collaboratively to generate creative and meaningful solutions.

Choose the study route that works best for you:

  • complete the full qualification in just 4 days, including an additional assessment day to gain accreditation

  • or attend a 3-day programme for a CPD-only option.

Whether you’re looking to achieve a recognised qualification or simply enhance your professional development, this flexible structure allows you to tailor the course to your goals and availability.

If you would like this course tailored specifically to your organisation, please get in touch. We would be happy to work with you to design a bespoke training programme that aligns with your goals, challenges and workforce needs.
