If you're passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care and want a direct path into the NHS or health and care sectors, the FdSc Nursing Associate degree at University Centre South Devon offers the perfect opportunity to step into a registered role and make a real difference.

This pre-registration foundation degree is fully approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is designed to prepare you for employment as a Registered Nursing Associate (RNA) - a vital role in the future of integrated health and social care. Upon successful completion of the two-year programme, you’ll be eligible to register with the NMC and begin working at Band 4 level within the NHS or a range of health and care organisations.

You’ll learn through a blend of academic study, simulated practice, and clinical placements, giving you the essential knowledge and hands-on experience to meet the needs of patients and service users across a variety of settings. Your training will focus on person-centred care, professional values, communication, health promotion, and safe, evidence-based practice.

Throughout the course, you’ll be supported by a team of expert lecturers and clinical mentors, ensuring you build the confidence, competence and compassion needed for the role.Upon completion, you could progress to further study at the Univeristy of Plymouth.
