If you're a qualified audiology professional seeking to become a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser (RHAD), the Level 5 Aptitude Test in Hearing Aid Dispensing at University Centre South Devon offers a focused, flexible route to meet the requirements set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

This distance learning programme has been specifically developed to support audiology practitioners who require an aptitude test to demonstrate their readiness for HCPC registration. Delivered as a single 20-credit module, the course builds your knowledge and understanding of the professional roles, responsibilities, and legal and ethical frameworks involved in hearing aid dispensing.

You will engage with real-world case studies and industry examples, helping you apply key concepts and develop a clear understanding of safe, effective, and person-centred practice in hearing care. The course is designed to be completed flexibly alongside your current professional commitments.

On successful completion of this programme, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD).
