At South Devon College we are currently running a very successful Elective Home Educated programme, which provides a broad and diverse Key Stage 4 curriculum for learners in year 10 & 11.
The provision allows us to look at every student as an individual and offer a Personalised Learning Programme. This is a custom plan tailored to the individual that ensures they gain the academic, vocational and employability skills necessary to achieve their goals. We have also seen a high percentage of learners continue their pathway on to post-16 courses here at South Devon College.
If your child is registered as home educated and in year 10 or 11, you can access up to 3 days’ worth of provision over 36 weeks of the academic year; based at the Vantage Point campus in Paignton or our centres in Newton Abbot.
We can also arrange taster days if your child is currently in year 9 or below, to build confidence and help with transition.
