Antony Sutton

Becci Bartell

I am the key Employer support for all things ‘Digital Account’. I have a many years experience working within a Customer Service role, and I am constantly learning new things to enable me to better support our Employers.

Debbie Boylan

I have been a Workplace Coordinator since 2009. I have a professional background in Business Administration, Customer Service, ICT and Management having developed my occupational competence over a period of 18 years whilst working in a variety of industries in both small and large organisations. I am a previous DFES STAR Award winner for my work in developing innovative teaching and learning resources and undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate as a Subject Learning Coach.

Carla Nardone

I am a Workplace Coordinator for the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner, Level 3 Customer Service Specialist, and Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor. My role entails visiting employers and students across Torbay, Plymouth and Exeter regions.

I have over ten years work experience in customer service and coordination roles in the healthcare and education sector. I am enthusiastic for continued professional development and supporting individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals.

Elaine Paske

I have worked at South Devon College for 26 years; initially working as the Manager for Tor Business – the precursor to Business Advantage. We specialised in providing bespoke IT, Microsoft Office applications and Business Skills. I moved to join Business Advantage in 2005 when we moved to the new campus at Vantage Point in Paignton. I changed role to become a Business Advisor and then Manager for the Heathfield Centre in Newton Abbot. Over the years, my key role within the College has been to forge strong relationships with employers and successfully manage accounts.

Gareth Watkins

I am the Workplace Coordinator for Plumbing and Gas Engineering. I am a former Police Officer and having spent my career based in London, nothing now surprises me. I have worked in education for approximately five years. I am a strong believer that drive and commitment can get you a long way. If you want to talk rugby, then let’s talk Tics or Exeter Chiefs, whereas football, let’s just say ‘I’m forever blowing bubbles’.

Janice Morris

I am a Workplace Coordinator for the Level 5 Leadership and Management Apprenticeship Programme. I started my journey at the College by establishing the new concept of hiring out the facilities to the local community, fundraising events and supporting cross college events. Having supervised apprentices during my time at the college, I made the transition into the Apprenticeship Team in 2015 and now give to support to over 50 Apprentices in the Leadership and Management Programme throughout the South West.

Joe Widdecombe

I am a business administration apprentice at South Devon College and have a wide range of skills. Having travelled the world for 1 year, I have gained vital communication skills as I had to interact with different cultures and ethnicities. From this I have built my confidence and ability see situations in more than one way. After completing my A Levels, I picked up computing skills as I was studying media, photography and business studies. All of this has helped me in the role I play at the College today.

Jo Bowden

I joined South Devon College in 2008 as an apprentice on the IT Services Helpdesk. Since completing my apprenticeship, I progressed to providing support for staff and students as an IT Technician. After providing IT support for seven years I progressed in to an academic role within the College as a Workplace Coordinator, which involved teaching students in areas such as ‘IT troubleshooting’. I have over ten years of educational experience and three year’s specialising in apprenticeships. Having started my career as an apprentice myself I feel this has given me a thorough understanding of the process from a student’s perspective.

Lenka Rowsell

My experience includes working as a Workplace Coordinator in Hairdressing, Beauty, Automotive, and Sport, Adventure & Fitness, including the implementation of new Apprenticeship areas. Also qualified to teach both Maths and English functional skills and I regularly offer 1-to-1 in these areas. A fully qualified Personal Trainer also which adds to and complements my experience in the Fitness area, ensuring the smoothest journey for my learners. Excellent communication and motivational skills and able to converse on all levels. 100% dedication given at all times to both learners and employers alike.
