During the programme you will learn skills designed to build professional relationships with families, and you will explore the processes for working within multi-disciplinary environments. The course focuses on work-based Learning, together with an element of practical assessment. You will be required to undertake a work placement to develop essential practical skills by working in a suitable provision for one day per week throughout the qualification.

You will relate your studies directly to a place of work (paid or voluntary) through inspecting their policies and procedures, and reflecting on your own practice of working with parents.
