Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes Certificate Level 3
This course is aimed at adults who want to increase their understanding of diabetes. During the course you will develop in-depth knowledge of the types, causes, signs and symptoms of diabetes, anatomy and physiology, impact of diabetes on individuals, others and society, the treatment and management of diabetes and common complications of diabetes.
This course is 18 weeks in duration and has a blended delivery with resources and assessments online that you are able to access at your own convenience. There are four optional face-to-face sessions available where you can access your tutor in person for support, as well as online support from your tutor.
We are offering a guaranteed interview for Health Professions and Nursing degrees at University Centre South Devon if you complete this course and have a grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us, particularly if this is your first full Level 3 qualification. The funding you receive depends on your personal circumstances and could mean that you are entitled to free or reduced course fees.
