Understanding Autism Certificate (Online) Level 2
The Understanding Autism Certificate Level 2 is a fully-subsidised distance learning course that is aimed at those looking to understand more about autism. Perhaps you work with people, or have a family member with this diagnosis? The course will increase your understanding of autism and how best to support individuals.
You will be sent the resources and materials in a pack to complete. The resources and materials will cover each topic in detail, allowing you to learn more about the condition. This allows you to complete the course flexibly and in the comfort of your own home. However, you are also welcome to use the College library at our Paignton campus. Online course materials will be sent to support the online assessment.
Despite there being no formal classes, you will have the support of a tutor who can offer phone or face-to-face tutorials. You will have approximately 6-8 weeks to complete your two assessments. The suggested amount of time to work on this is approximately five to eight hours a week.
This course will be fully subsidised for those who are over 19, have been resident in the UK for three years, with an exception of those who live within a devolved adult education area and those currently enrolled on an apprenticeship – please click here for more information.
