I was lucky enough to secure work on the Animal Unit, based at South Devon College. It was during my time studying and working at the College that I realised I wanted to teach. I wanted to share my knowledge and passion with others and hopefully inspire them to pursue a career in the sector. I completed my FdA Teaching and Learning and I am now working towards my PGCE. I'm so grateful I decided to return to study; every step of my journey has presented me with new opportunities. I now work at the College as a Lecturer in Animal Science helping students take the first steps toward their chosen career."Lorelei Kirwan
