This is a knowledge based qualification suitable for anyone wanting to develop their knowledge on stress. This qualification aims to improve your understanding of stress.
You will look at the causes of stress and the effects stress can have on health. You will also learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and look at ways of preventing or reducing stress.
This course is completed via distance learning, allowing you the flexibility of studying in your own time. There are a range of teaching materials that you will work your way through and at the end of each section you will complete a small assessment. The course is divided into small sections so that you can complete parts of the course even if you have a short amount of time.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification, however it is recommended that you are confident in using computers and have regular internet access. You must be aged 19 + and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to free or reduced course fees. You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.
