Sport and Exercise Science Extended Diploma Level 3
If you’re interested in the science of sport – nutrition, psychology, injury, and rehabilitation – then this is the perfect course for you. It digs deeper into the world of sport, looking at everything that goes into world-class sporting performance and coaching. We’ll help you develop all of the skills and knowledge that a career in sports science requires.
The programme is designed to develop your practical and academic skills, and consists of 180 credits of study, which is equivalent of up to three A Levels and UCAS points. This is the new NQF qualification. You will benefit from trips to major sporting events (subject to availability), previous cohorts have enjoyed visits to Madrid, Milan and Barcelona.
Please note: there are two exams to sit in Year one and two exams in Year two, alongside a range of coursework activities to complete throughout both years.
Upon completion you can progress to employment, an apprenticeship or consider applying for the Sport and Exercise Science foundation degree at University Centre South Devon.

This course is fully funded for 16-18 year olds (if applicable to the course).
