Sewing and Dressmaking

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn sewing and have fun at the same time. Kristina, the tutor, will guide and support you with your project whatever your skill level.
Dressmaking, patchwork and quilting, festive bunting, make-up bags, stitched seasonal gifts, tailoring or anything else you fancy to have a go at – all projects are welcome as long as there is a sewing machine involved!
The content will be adapted to the specific requirements of each learner after the first session
It would be beneficial for a learner to know what project they want to work on by the first session so the tutor can create an individual lesson plan. It would also give the learner sufficient time to buy all the supplies needed.
Students will learn how to use a sewing machine and then iron to achieve a crisp and precise finish on the project of the choosing. Each learner will work on their individual project.
The course will be delivered through short lectures, demonstrations, discussions and hands on experience. There will also be opportunities for 1-2-1 support.
