Sepsis Awareness and Vital Signs Entry Level
Sepsis affects millions of individuals globally and can lead to severe complications if not identified and treated promptly.
This Sepsis Awareness Course is an essential programme designed for healthcare professionals and those aspiring for future carers in healthcare. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of sepsis, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, respond to, and manage this life-threatening condition. Increasing awareness in sepsis can save lives resulting in quicker diagnosis and better prognosis for patients.
As well as increasing awareness of sepsis this course undertakes the importance of recognising normal range for vital signs and helps the practitioner develop an understanding of a deteriorating patient.
If you are aged 16+ and live in or support residents in the TQ1 to TQ5 Torbay Council postcode area, then you may be eligible to have this course funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
