Security and Event Safety

The Security and Event Safety Advanced course will include the qualifications necessary to gain a Security Industry authority (SIA) licence, depending on your age, which provides students with an understanding of supervising security staff and events.

This is a 1-year course designed for anyone with a genuine interest in understanding security operations, supervising spectator events, health and safety and customer service. Skills and qualifications gained as part of the course are further enhanced by a work placement to refine your employability skills.

Upon completion of this course, you may progress on to an apprenticeship, further study or employment. If you are interested in becoming a part of the the security industry, including door supervising, stewarding, security management, guarding and more, then this is the course for you.
