Seafish Basic Firefighting and Prevention
This one-day course forms part of the mandatory basic safety training for all fishermen and provides fishermen with the knowledge and skills required to be able to fight fires at sea.
After full completion of this course, you will be able to:
Understand fire and the dangers it presents at sea
Understand fire prevention
Understand the principles of firefighting at sea
Be able to use basic firefighting equipment to safely extinguish fires
This one-day Seafish certified course is being held at a local venue for practical assessment.
