Science Pathway A for Biology, Chemistry and Applied Science

The Access to H.E. Diploma course is for adults (19+) returning to education. This Science Pathway is designed for those wishing to pursue a degree, and subsequent career in an aspect of Biology (e.g. Microbiology, Genetics, Biomedicine) or in Chemistry. It is essential for Health Sector degrees such as Dietetics and recommended for competitive degrees such as Midwifery, Paramedic, and Physiotherapy. You should have a GCSE grade C/4 in either English or maths with the option to study either GCSE English or Mathematics alongside the Access to H.E. Diploma if necessary. The college is offering this pathway alongside a new Science Pathway that includes Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, and is more suitable for those wanting a degree and career in these subjects, or in any branch of engineering. All Access Diploma applicants will sit a short entry test.
