Protective Services Foundation

This full time (3 days per week) foundation course offers an introduction into the security and event safety industry. You will study different qualifications all related to the industry including stewarding, terrorism awareness, conflict management, teamwork and leadership and first aid. You will also learn how to be more employable and work towards qualifications in personal development. You will also undertake work experience at events and have the opportunity to visit relevant organisations. Learning will take place through theoretical and practical study and assessment and you will have the benefit of guest lectures from external industry experts.

Upon successful completion of the course, you could progress onto the intermediate course, into employment or an apprenticeship.
