This full time (3 days per week) advanced course builds upon the foundation course and you will study more in depth qualifications including Working as a Door Supervisor (SIA licence linked), Working as a CCTV Operator (SIA licence linked), Front of Stage Pit Barrier operations, Principles of Providing Security Services and first aid. You will undertake work experience in supervisory roles and visit organisations across the country which you will plan, including prisons, sports stadiums and CCTV control rooms.
You will also plan and carry out fundraising activities throughout the year. Learning will take place through theoretical and practical study and assessment and you will have the benefit of guest lectures from external industry experts.
You must have demonstrable work experience or knowledge of a related subject.
Upon successful completion of the course, you could progress onto a higher education course, into employment or an apprenticeship.
