Principles of End of Life Care Certificate Level 3
This qualification is aimed at those seeking to increase their knowledge of end-of-life care in a vocational setting. It is aimed at those working in the healthcare sector, whose job description includes caring for people who have a life-limiting illness.
This qualification is also appropriate to those who have already achieved other sector-specific qualifications in the health-care sector who need to apply their understanding in a palliative care context.
The course is 18 weeks in duration and has a blended delivery with resources and assessments being online and four face to face classroom-based sessions with your tutor in college on Friday mornings that you can attend where there will be additional information and guest speakers (to be confirmed). This also provides the opportunity to see your tutor in person and South Devon College’s Information, Advice and Guidance Team for careers and course advice (pre-bookable).
We are offering a guaranteed interview for Health Professions and Nursing degrees if you complete this course and have a grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2 in qualification in Maths and English Language.

"When you start out as a Fisher you're looking between 2-4% of the total catch which is how we get paid off the top of the catch but 2-4% could be £300 a week, or it could be £1500 a week. It varies completely but I've never been to sea for less than £150 a day."Laurence Gilson
