This 10 week short course, covering your own plans for personal development, will allow you to understand equality and diversity in care and providing personal care in care settings.
Three modules will be delivered and assessed over 10 weeks with the aim of providing an insight into working in the Health and Care industry. This course also has the option of undertaking functional skills in English and Maths to support with the required skills for working in the Health and Care industry.
Upon completion, you will be able to consider employment or an apprenticeship as a Healthcare Assistant in either a clinical environment, such as a Hospital or nursing home or in a social care environment such as a residential home or domiciliary care worker.
