Prepare to Work in Adult Social Care Level 2
The Prepare to Work in Adult Social Care course is aimed at adults (19+) who are interested in working in care or are looking for a care based qualification to aid with career development and/or to enable progression to further study.
The course will increase your understanding of what it is like to work in the care sector. The resources and materials will cover each topic in detail, allowing you to learn more about care work and the skills required to work in this sector.
The course is 12 weeks in duration and has a blended delivery with with three face to face classroom based sessions with your tutor in college on Friday mornings and access to your tutor by phone/Teams/Email. Learning resources and assessments are provided in a booklet to enable completion in the class and as independent learning to support your achievement of the course. This will provide the opportunity to meet your tutor in person and also South Devon College’s Information, Advice and Guidance Team for careers and course advice (pre-bookable).
