Pottery for All
This course is for anyone with an interest in pottery, whatever their level of experience. Students who are new to the subject will be introduced to basic clay forming techniques and decorative techniques including an introduction to earthenware and stoneware glazes.
Students who already have some experience will have an opportunity to learn new skills or engage in their own projects with guidance from the tutor as needed.
The course fee includes the cost of the materials including clay, glaze and firing. Please note that this course does not teach the use of a pottery wheel.

- You should have a genuine interest in this subject
You will learn a variety of pottery techniques such as pinch pot making
Coiling, slab building and mould making
You will be introduced to glazing and decorative finishes

This course is fully funded for 16-18 year olds (if applicable to the course).
