Plastering Diploma

This course is the first step on the ladder to becoming a professional plasterer, learning all of the skills you’ll need when you’re out on site. And there’s far more to plastering than meets the eye. You’ll be studying technical fibrous and ornate work – highly skilled techniques that employers and site managers look for.

You will be introduced to a variety of techniques that enhance your skills and develop you into a successful tradesperson.

Upon completion, you will be well prepared for further study to refine your skills and continue your development. You’ll be progressing to the Level 2 qualification, where you’ll take all of your skills and take them even further. As a skilled plasterer, you’ll then be ready to enter the industry, whether that’s out on the construction site, as a plaster, or as a restoration worker.

What will I learn?

“I have over 35 years of experience and have worked at Pinewood Film Studios in London, creating sets for films like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman and the James Bond series. I moved into plastering with an ornamental focus, and had my own business. I bring all this experience into my teaching, preparing learners for their own careers in this industry.”Graham Hurt
