Paediatric First Aid Certificate

This course will provide you with the appropriate skills and understanding in order to deal with emergencies involving infants and children. You will be continuously assessed throughout the two day course. Upon successful completion you will be awarded a Paediatric First Aid Certificate validated by First Aid International.

If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to free or reduced course fees. You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.   • The role of the first aider (including record-keeping)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
  • Managing the unconscious casualty (including seizures)
