This course is designed for carpenters currently working within the industry for a minimum of 5 years who can demonstrate competency across areas of 1st and 2nd fix.
Your work might involve supervising others and you would like to develop your skills further and move into a senior role or a position with more responsibility.

Installing second fix components in the workplace.
Maintaining non structural carpentry in the workplace.
Erecting structural carcassing in the workplace.
Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace.

Katy has worked in secondary schools (private and public), further education (FE) and higher education (HE) environments and is qualified with a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education, QTS and QTLS. She holds a Master’s in Education and is studying for her Professional Doctorate in Education with a specialism in outdoor education.
