NVQ Roofing Occupations Diploma Level 2
This Level 2 NVQ is for experienced Roofers who can demonstrate skills across a range of complex tasks including, natural slate, plain tile and single lap including roofing backgrounds. Demonstrating you have the skills and knowledge to manage a complete roof project is also desirable.
- Currently working as a Roofer with opportunities to construct advanced/comprehensive roofing structures
Install roofs to form architectural and decorative structures in the workplace.
Installing and forming roofing elements in the workplace.
Confirming work activities and resources for an occupational work area in the workplace.
Confirming the occupational method of work in the workplace.
Setting out to form roofing structures in the workplace.
Installation of the latest standard in roofing backgrounds.

Katy has worked in secondary schools (private and public), further education (FE) and higher education (HE) environments and is qualified with a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education, QTS and QTLS. She holds a Master’s in Education and is studying for her Professional Doctorate in Education with a specialism in outdoor education. She has taught for over 10 years and developed and managed FE and HE programmes with a wide range of experience teaching across a large range of levels.
