Our online course offers an exciting opportunity to gain the qualifications that you need to progress on to University in the convenience of your own home.
The course is well suited to those who work full-time or have young children but still aspire to achieve their goals. This is an online learning platform that includes innovative, interesting lessons and full support from a personal tutor.
We have two start dates; September and early Spring. The course takes 2 academic years to complete, although you do have the option to finish earlier, if you wish.
This is a term-time only course. Tutors may be unavailable during half term breaks and holidays.
The Social Science pathway consists of 3 core subjects; Criminology, Sociology and Psychology. Alongside 3 core academic subjects, you will also receive training in Study skills; support in academic writing and referencing, as well as guidance with the UCAS application process.
This pathway is widely accepted on a variety of related and unrelated university courses including Psychology, Criminal Justice, Law, Social Work and many more. Check the website of your chosen university for their entry requirements.
*Funding is available via an Advanced Learner Loan which does not need to be re-paid if you complete the diploma and a Foundation degree.*
“I really enjoyed studying Health and Social Care. You're treated as an adult at the College and the tutors get to know you on a personal level, they are really supportive and their knowledge is invaluable. I felt as though I grew as a person during my time there, which is so important."Caitlyn Crofts
