The Marine Engineering Level 3 Diploma is the ideal progression route if you have completed the Level 2 Certificate, and will further improve your existing knowledge and practical skills.
You will begin by developing diagnostic abilities across a range of marine engineering systems, as you prepare for employment. Assessments on this course consist of practical tasks that are evidenced by a portfolio, with teaching delivered in both our specialist classrooms and workshops featuring the latest equipment.
Upon completion, you can progress into an apprenticeship or full-time employment.
“My goal is to become a marine engineer, and my course has improved my career prospects as well as providing many memorable experiences. I've driven a powerboat and worked on the engine of Aspiration, the College’s 38ft yacht, amongst many others; all great experience for employment.” Leanne Cole
This course is available at our Marine Academy, on the edge of the picturesque River Dart.
