If you want to make it to the top of the car industry, if you’re going to be one of the very best automotive engineers out there, then look no further than this course.

Everything on this course has been designed to give you an advanced skillset and everything you need to excel in the industry. You’ll be studying the components of vehicle maintenance in finer detail, working with complex systems across different vehicles. You’ll be diagnosing vehicles and faultfinding, becoming more confident identifying problems. Not only that, you’ll know just how to fix those problems, appropriately rectifying the faults and properly maintaining a vehicle. Put this together, and you’ll be a trusted pair of hands in any garage – capable of rolling your sleeves up and taking on any problem, no matter how challenging or complicated it might be.

The course develops knowledge from previous studies, and upon completion, as a skilled technician you will be able to find employment in a variety of fields in the automotive industry. Progression with a couple years of experience under your belt, this course is about taking all of your existing skills and perfecting them, making you a highly skilled mechanic and automotive engineer.

It’s the last stop before you go out into industry, opening up many opportunities for you in the automotive field. Because of our association with the IMI, garages and workshops throughout the UK recognise that our graduates are talented and confident mechanics, ready to get to work in any automotive setting. Our students go on to become vehicle fitters, diagnostic technicians, vehicle technicians, and mechanics – even motorsport engineers!
